The School of American Ballet

Wednesday, March 19, 2014

Recently Jamie had the pleasure to attend The School of American Ballet’s 80 years of dedication to the field of ballet celebration. While enjoying the evening she snapped a few breathtaking images of the stunning performance by the school’s own students. I can’t get enough of those beautiful portraits of grace, strength and storytelling in motion. They give me goosebumps:) Are you a fan of ballet? xo

P.S: La práctica.
P.P.S: Desperately perfect.

So beautiful! Love!

I used to live on the same block as the San Francisco Ballet, which was nice....watching all of those graceful ballerinas coming and going to school (they were SO graceful, even when just walking with totes bags).

all wonderful, i especially love the photo of the lift. so incredibly graceful. yes to ballet, i was good at my basics, but i could never get the lift to look like i was flying through the air. it's been a long time a few pounds ago, but I can still stand and do my positions. ;) though I don't look like these lovely ballerinas doing it. gives you a great and necessary foundation for all other dance!
