To Cape or Not To Cape?

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

What’s your take on capes for spring? According to Refinery29, it’s the perfect winter-spring transition piece. I love all types of wraps for their easy-peasy-on-the-go type of vibe and because you can just slip one on and you are ready to take on the day! I’m thinking about rocking this one as soon as the weather turns for the better.

What do you think? Yes, maybe or definitely not? xo

I always wanted to wear a cape or a poncho but somwhow it made me look shorter. I might give it a go again this spring since I love your selection.

I've never had a cape, but I'd definitely consider one. Love the plaid one in the second picture.

I am definitely a cape girl. Always have been.........cape, shawl, poncho.........I've got them all. My brown cape is really my go-to going out anywhere special outerwear. I love it and it is indeed transitional. I am swooning over all of these, especially the tribal print. oh my. Have a great day Diana!

I've never really tried wearing a cape before, other than dressing up like a superhero! :) But I absolutely love the look! So chic! Diana, I love the Oasis one you picked out! I might have to copy you! :)

Not really for me, but they look great on other people and I do love the idea of them.

I have a love hate relationship with them.
I totally love how they look and the boho-ness of them but I feel restricted in them. I need more free movement in my arms. seems I am always knocking things over with the cape wings.

these ladies look fabulous - if you can pull of the cape, why not go for it?
