The Perfect Winter/Christmas Potpourri

Monday, December 9, 2013

Do you like simmer pots? Balazs and I can't get enough of them and we are determined to make a tradition of having a few favourite combinations ready in jars for every single season. This one rocked our rainy summer days. Those two got us through the autumn chilliness and the swap from sunny skies to dark gloominess. So, you can imagine my excitement last week, when I spotted the perfect winter and especially Christmas combination of orange peels, apples, cinnamon, star anise, ginger and cloves. Each time I make it and let is simmer through the day, our flat smells like Christmas morning. Ah, the little things in life! (Here is the full how to)

P.S: Autumn transition.
P.P.S: And this glass room.
