In December of 1999 Jeff Harris embarked on a 12 year long project of taking a photo of himself each day as an alternative to all those diaries he started but couldn't keep up with. He found the experience inspiring as he had to make the effort to seek interesting things to capture every single day. He shot 4,748 frames that include romantic kisses, breakfasts, relationships, ski adventures, visits to the dentist, cooking meals, spending time with friends, dipping into lakes, but also his fight against cancer, sadness and the recovery that didn’t slow him down. It actually was very life-affirming to him. If you have 5 minutes, check out the video below. It’s beautiful, heart-warming and inspiring - something not to miss!
"We can't pretend like this is just another day! This is THE day! This is TODAY! We have never been given today before! We hold it all in our hands! Go find a calendar and look at the date - whatever day it is, realize this: this day will never come again!" - Andrew W.K.
P.S: Plus, Llama type of day :)
P.P.S: A beautiful GIVEAWAY is coming up!
