L'Automne a Paris

Tuesday, September 3, 2013

My friend who lives in Paris recently told me that ever since she moved there she fell in love with autumn. It's commonly known to locals that as soon as the summer tourists leave, the air gets crisper and the leaves start turning yellow, the city gets back to its regular daily mojo of romance, gloominess and everlasting mystery. She also mentioned that if anyone really wants to experience Paris at its best, autumn is the time for it. Swoon!

Oh boy, to me Paris is perfect anytime but after looking at those photos it would be dreamy to see it this autumn, wouldn't it? Planning any autumn trips? xo

P.S: Also, Paris in rain - j'adore!
P.P.S: And how to wear scarves like a true Parisian and nine winter ways to get lost in Paris.

I do love Autumn best of all. These photos make me long to be in Paris! Here in Rio it is just starting to get really hot and muggy again... :) Thanks for transporting me to lovely Paris!

Well, as a parisian, I don't want the Autumn to come back because it was already here from January to July... Weather was really bad in Paris this year, so, Summer can stay until Christmas ! ;)

Wow! I would go any time, but Autumn seems just perfect now. With hot cocoa and a croissant... perfect.

So pretty...this is the time of year that I wish I could be somewhere that actually has autumn. Alas, LA does not.

The changing leaves are quite brilliant, but I will always be a summer girl at heart. Still Pairs during any season would sound like a good trip to me!

You're friend is totally right about Paris in the Autumn! In college, I started my study board in Strasbourg in the fall and took several long weekend trips to Paris and the fall was the best. Less tourists and perfect weather for snuggling up with your loved one and sipping something warm at an outdoor cafe. Total bliss!!! I've been wanting to go back there during this time of the year for many years and introduce my husband to Paris!

The last time Richard and I went to Paris it was Autumn and it was perfect. Crisp bright days and not too cold but dark evenings to make the most of cosy bars and restaurants x
