The Car Poolers

Have you seen this photo series by Alejandro Cartagena’s? It’s incredibly captivating to say the least. The artist wanted to show a little teaser into the flatbeds of pickups from an overpass on Highway 85 in Monterrey, Mexico that you would never be able to spot from a different angle. He aimed to showcase the unique perspective on workers' daily commuting routine, survival, adaptation and uncertainty. Powerful and thought-provoking, don’t you think? xo

P.S: Another interesting photo series and this one is pretty great too.
P.P.S: Do you remember this swoonworthy gem in Mexico?

Living out here in the west, this is a way of life. You can't go out for a drive without seeing images such as these. These photos really make us understand how hard some will work for their family to survive. Really thought provoking.
