When was the last time you...?

Tuesday, April 30, 2013

Loves, here is what I learned about you recently: you love belly laughs and people make you giggle. You smooch your partners, puppies and babies daily, and enjoy forehead kisses occasionally. And you find a cup of latte, long shower, babble bath, hiking and an Indian take out super relaxing.

So, let’s continue on getting to know each other. Shall we?

Ok, here I go: The last great book I read was Food Rules an Eater’s Manual. A read that changed the way I look at food. My first kiss was pretty accidental. It happened with my friend who was my neighbour and we were playing camping under his dining table. We were seven and it was totally un-romantic:). And the last time I got tummy butterflies was on Saturday morning. I don’t know what it was but Balazs and I had a breakfast on our balcony and I just felt so special in that moment.

So, darlings, now your turn: Tell me about your first ever kiss, what book blew your socks off lately and when was the last time you got all giddy and felt special. Do tell!

P.S: And a nifty little smooching guide.
P.P.S: Plus, our perfections...

What a great series. As for me, I had my first kiss at around 2. I don't remember it but my mom says that I loved kissing little boys back than. I got giddy last night when my boyfriend surprised me with a late night pizza delivery and you just reminded me that I haven't read a great book for a while. Need to start reading again.

First kiss? About age 13 in my backyard with a boy from the neighbourhood.
Last time I was giddy? Just the other week...a nice morning with the Husband.
Good book? O'Brien the Giant by Hilary Mantel. Still finishing it, but I love her style!

First kiss? I think twelve. It wasn't special at all! And the last time I got giggly excited? Crickey, I can't remember. It's been a while. Must fix that!

Book that blew my socks off: Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury. Read it right on the brink of summer. Your heart and mind will melt like butter.

Last time I felt all giddy inside? Being with my family on a rainy Sunday night playing games outdoors just laughing and enjoying each other.

P.S. - I love this series of posts!!!

My first kiss happened on a warm summer night in South Korea. I was there for study and it happened on a bench in front of our dormitory. He was the first boy I'd ever loved and the kiss was as magnificent as the poets describe it. Electrifying, gentle and sweet. I felt the electricity shoot down my spine and through my finger tips. I had to stop to gasp for breath; it literally took my breath away.

1. i was 12 or 13 and like a cliché, the boy had braces and cut my lip open! i was so scared that my mom would find out i kissed a boy that i think i made up some really dumb lie!

2. i haven't read any great books lately (no time to read, i desperately need to make time!) but i cannot wait to read Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. i've heard nothing but amazing things about it.

3. i felt pretty special last night after M gave me a slightly naughty compliment! ;) ;)

hope you had a great day, pretty lady! xxo
