To wrap or not to wrap?

Tuesday, October 16, 2012

For a few years now I have a chocolate brown wrap that I can’t get enough of. It’s my go-to piece on those sunny and not-too-cold autumn mornings when I feel like bundling up in something loose and easy-going yet stylish. Plus, I love how it wraps itself around my sholders in that natural and snuggly way.

Darlings, how about you? Do you wear wraps or capes or ponchos? Would you wear any of the above? xo

P.S: Plus, it goes so well with French cozy layers.

wraps haven't been my go-to until recently. living in a tropical atmosphere, there really isn't much opportunity. but i adore the look. especially that last picture :)

These are all lovely! I have a couple of ponchos and a lightweight wrap. I love them for when I want the extra layers without a coat. Plus a couple of them make a good excuse for not stressing over what I am wearing underneath. LOL.
Best,
Tina

These all look super comfy and how you describe yours is comfort at its best But i cant do ponchos or capes even though it seems like you would have full use of arms i feel more limited in movement for some reason. I am always tugging or grabbing throwing the cape out of my way lol
But i always try one on every fall thinking...maybe and the quickly decide nope ;)

To wrap of course. It's one of those amazing feelings during these months, to wrap and feel cozy and warm and velvety! Love the first two and the last two. Is that Sophia Coppola?

Amy, I totally get it. My mom doesn't wear wraps and ponchos for the same reason. And Patricia, yes, that is Sophia Coppola:) I have such a girl-crush on her.

Wraps are so classy when pulled off right. Personally, I'm not a big poncho wearer-- I feel sloppy when I wear one. I'd wear any of the sweater wraps here any day!

I'm on the fence....though it looks like it would keep me warm on these chilly fall days. I could have used one on my walk yesterday!
