Do you like grapes? How about grapes covered in creamy goat cheese, dipped in sweet honey and rolled in crushed crunchy almonds? Yup, since they are in season, I used them a lot just for snacking or when friends pop by unexpectedly. The awesome part about this little snack is that if you are not crazy about goat cheese, you can use any other soft cheese or if almonds are not your thing, walnuts or pecans might be. Crikey, believe me, when you try them, you’ll never want to eat grapes any other way!
Here is the recipe if you fancy a bite.
Goat Cheese Grape Balls
* a bunch of your favourite grapes (red, green or seedless)
* 450 grams of soft goat cheese
* 1 pack of almonds
* a jar of honey
Wash your grapes. Chop your almonds or crush them in a blender. Next, you’re ready to roll your grapes between your palms in goat cheese pieces. Make sure to cover each individual grape well in the cheese. And then the fun part starts: spread gently a dash of honey on each goat-cheese-covered-grape and roll them individually in your chopped almonds. You can refrigerate them for later or eat them straight away. Ta dah!
So lovelies, fancy a plateful? xo
