exPress-o Originals: Nutella Fudge

Yup, I was bad:) I made nutella fudge twice last week but it wasn't only for me, promise! Balazs had a fair share of it too. When was the last time you had fudge? Ah, there is something so soothing about those tiny little squares that I can not resist. Over the years I managed to come up with our favourite flavour combination. The mix of milk chocolate and Nutella with a bit of vanilla makes for a scrumptious treat in no time.  

If you fancy trying it, here is the full recipe:
 
Nutella Fudge
(Makes about 30 pieces)
 
* 7 oz. of condensed milk
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 4 oz. quality milk chocolate

* 1 1/2 cups of Nutella

* 1 1/2 tbsp (or 20 grams) of unsalted butter
 
Line a smaller rectangle shape pan with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overlap on the sides. In a little cooking pot stir together condensed milk, vanilla, milk chocolate, Nutella, and the butter. Cook on a low heat while stirring gently till all the ingredients mix well and the texture is smooth. Next, transfer the mixture into the prepared pan, and spread the top smooth with a spatula. Refrigerate until the fudge is firm (for about 2-4 hours). Next, lift the fudge out, flip it over, peel off the parchment paper and cut it into smaller squares. Make sure to store it in the fridge. Ta dah!

i love this! fudge is my summertime favorite, since you can get the best there is out on cape cod. :) i love nutella in all its forms!

Ooh, I neeeeed to try this. Of course, I'm still in the first hour of a shift at the library, so I can't do anything about it just yet. If I was at home I'd probably already be on my way to the store to pick up the necessary ingredients. ;-)
