Have you ever been to
Scotland? Last year our friend Sara
and her husband took a three week vacation to the
'cloudy island' aka
Isle of Skye. It’s a 50 mile island of amazing sea
cliffs, velvet moors, the freshest seafood, beautiful little villages and endless mountains.
Those photographs totally take me back to Sara’s stories of early morning barefoot
walks,
drop scones breakfasts, fishing trips with the locals and sitting on the
edge of cliffs at dusk and pinching each other because as she said, they couldn’t
believe such beautiful places exist. Le sigh, shall we pack? xo
P.S: Remember this
tree house?
P.P.S: Plus, more
wanderlust:)

Sigh. These pictures make me want to just pack up my bags and go! I used to live in Scotland....what a beautiful place! xx
Hi! Yes, it's beautiful! I spent some weeks in Scotland, the landscapes are incredible, the people are very friendly and they have many music bands that I love! Just remember it can rain and be windy at the same time.

Wow! I had no idea this place existed! So magical!
xoxo
This place convinced me that magic really exists! It's fantastically gorgeous!
How the heck do you get the photographer from the first photo?! I've had it forever saved on my desktop but couldn't for the life of me find the photographer so I never used it. So impressed!!!
You know me and Scotland- after spending a summer there it's basically my homeland. I love that place, especially the Highlands. sigh.
we lived in scotland for a little while but never made it up to the isle of skye! :( all the more reason to go back, i love scotland!
This is breathtaking! Definitely adding Isle of Skye to my list of places to go. :)
How lovely, Eliza. I want to pack my bags right now too. This place is simply dreamy.
So true, Marta. My friend, Sara said the same thing. It can rain at any time and the sky looks amazing and has the coolest colours just before and just after the rain.
WoW! those photos are awesome! I want to go!! :)
Well, I've just found my next travel photography goal! =)
It has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited! :)

Tiffany, my mom always says that spring-time is the most magical time in Highlands:)
How fun that you lived in Scotland, holtkamp:) I just told Balazs last night that we should move there for a year:) I crave the endless views so much.
yay, SJ!!!
Ohh how cool, Tanvi. Where did you stay?
@diana - you should! my husband and i are trying to find a way to move back there!
Those purple trees make me think I'll see a fairy tucked into the landscape somewhere... ohhhh. pretty.
Ok, so I've been planning a week long trip to London for September, and reading your blog just had me going on an hour long Googling tangent to see how I could incorporate a visit to this place on that trip! Those photos are so incredible! I'm definitely going to plan a trip there someday, even if this year doesn't work out!
Scotland is definitely a magical place. I would love to visit one day!
I was lucky enough to live in Scotland for a year while I attended grad school and it is an absolutely gorgeous place with the kindest people, best food and most stunning scenery. GO.
Hard to believe this is real. But it is indeed... :)
holtkamp, really? That is so cool:) We could meet up for coffees if we both lived there:)
addy, have the best time in London and let me know if you managed to visit this spot as well:) xo
