Le sigh, 17 years ago after his wife unexpectedly passed away, a British farmer, Winston Howes who is now 70 years old created this incredibly touching heart-shaped meadow as a tribute to her.
With help of his family and friends he planted 6000 oak trees in the middle of their six-acre field pointing in the direction of his late wife's childhood home. By now his labor of love blossomed and he even planted daffodils in the middle of the heart that bloom in the spring. The meadow can't be seen from the road and it has been the family's secret till now. Winston said that about 5 years ago he flew over it once to see how it looks but mostly he just goes there to think about stuff and to remember all the 33 years of happy memories. Can you imagine their love story? How special and heartwarming is this? xo
