On Saturday I finally entered the big 3-0 (eek), so I thought today would be fun to share my top 10 feel good movies of my 20s. Sounds good? Those are the films I fancy watching over and over again with a bag of chips and pj's on my sofa and every time I see them, I find them equally hilarious, heartwarming and sweet.
Lost in Translation
Date Night
It's Complicated
Sunshine Cleaning (Amy Adams and Emily Blunt rock together).
Eat Pray Love (Have you read the book as well?)
The Devil Wears Prada
Julie & Julia (Scrumptious)
Sherlock Holmes (Those boys)
The Proposal
Analyze This
Also, since I know that many of you love all things films, I thought it would be kind of cool to start an exPress-o movie club. What do you think? Each week (let’s say on Tuesday) I’d post about one movie I/we love and we could chat about it, exchange our favouirte quotes or simply lust over the adorable accents of the actors or scenes that rocked our world. What do you say? Are you in?
What are your feel good movies that you watch over and over again? Did I miss something great? Any movie suggestions for the film club? xo
P.S: Also, here are my 10 best romantic comedies.
P.P.S: Plus, all things films and telly.

Something's Gotta Give :)
It's brilliant. I love Diane Keaton.
I am all the way in for the movie club and can not wait to see what movie you'll choose. Julie and Julia is like my all time favourite movie. Wish I could cook as well as she did. Love, Amy
i think bridget jones' diary is super feel good. is that really old already?
The movie club is a great idea! Happy Birthday! I just turned 42. I remember when I turned 30, it was a good day! I love Pretty Woman, and your other pick Julie and Julia was wonderful!
I movie club? That sounds so fun! I'm in!
Cool idea Diana. As for my favorites I have five: Sense and Sensibility, Bridget Jones, You've got mail, Love Actually and for some strange reason, Animal House.
Happy belated birthday girl! Welcome to the 30s club!
And did it hurt? I bet it didn´t :) Told you so!!
I love a lot of the movies you mentioned, I would add Little Miss Sunshine and Sideways for sure!

So true, Tish! Thanks, Something's Gotta Give is BRILLIANT, indeed. I love the part when she said to him: "I'm like the dumb girl that doesn't get it. I've never been the dumb girl before. It ain't great."
Sounds scrumptious!
Thanks for posting this, as I haven't seen all these and needed to see the titles with covers so I can find them. I love talking movies and the parts that had a sensational (motivating, change) on me. I adore the Proposal and several of these.
the cape on the corner, I think, BJ is from 2001 or 2002. I LOVE that movie to pieces. It was brilliant, wasn't it?
Aww..thank you, Jennifer, Martie, Monica and Chapstick Fanatic. You girls are SO sweet!
Love Actually, is wonderful, indeed Particia. Hugh Grant and Martine McCutcheon rocked. They were brilliant together, weren't they?
Thanks, Martie! It didn't hurt at all and I am pretty excited about being 30:) Yay!
what a brilliant idea! i am IN! especially since you seem to be my movie soul mate :)
i agree with the other's suggestions of "you've got mail" and "love actually." I would add "the holiday," "becoming jane," "16 Candles," and "Annie Hall."
It's not exactly "feel good" but one of my favorite movies is "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."
ps. HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS TO YOU!!! xo
Happy 30th to you!!!! ..and a Movie Club?! I think Oui! Count me in :))) Our Top 10 lists are looking very similar :)
Happy Birthday, Diana!!!
I haven't seen any of these but now I think I will!
Micaela, that is so sweet! And "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" is a great film, indeed:)
Thank you for all those sweet wishes and lovely notes...
I love The Proposal- definitely feel-good. But I went to see Date Night on one of the most awkward dates of my life... so I'll always associate it with that :)
