Mullet Dress Trend: Thumbs up or down?

Tuesday, July 3, 2012

It seems that the only clothes that make this summer heat almost bearable are super breezy summer dresses. I've been living in my flowy florals for a few weeks now but just recently I noticed that girls all over the city are totally embracing the fishtail (or mullet) trend. They seem to love it – from dresses, skirts to even cute tops. I must admit that done well, the trend looks totally sassy and I kind of fancy the idea of a flowy mullet number. What's your thought on it? Would you wear it? xo

P.S: And a few more summer trends that you might like (including the snazzy scalloped shorts).

I love Hi-Lo hems. I looked, well, high and low for a wedding gown like this and no luck. We had mine altered! <3

I love this look - I think it's super feminine. Definitely a trend I support ...but have yet to participate in.

haha...Marisa, I agree - mullet dress is such a weird name, isn't it? You can also call it the fishtail or as HiLLjO called it, the hi-lo hems.

I call it a bias hem. ;) And I think it's a 'thumb's up' for women who have the legs for it! xo.
