If You Could...?

Tuesday, July 24, 2012

If you could go anywhere you want this morning where would that be?  For me it would be somewhere super quiet, where the only thing you can hear is the birds chatting, the wind dancing and the cool water splashing against the rocks. Somewhere next to a hidden lake with a little dock where Balazs and I could have a long lazy picnic while dipping our toes in the refreshingly cool lake, get a bit silly with a few jumps to the lake and daydream about things that are not important at all but give us those exciting little butterflies. Your turn!  xo

P.S: Also, a great sunburn trick for those long days by the lake.
P.P.S: Plus, more travel awesomeness!

This is why I love your blog so much. Each day you make my heart smile and let me daydreaming about something beautiful. I would love to be on that lake today. Cheers, Grace

this is a lovely idea! I would like to be in the south of france, where I would wake up at midday and wander down to the pool and lie in the baking sun with a piece of baguette and some cold iced tea. yes please! I posted about this place on my blog last week! x

I know what you mean... these photos are so heartwarmingly peaceful. We all need to get out in the quiet of nature more.

This looks amazing, Diana!
If I could be anywhere right now it would be a Manhattan breakfast joint with a fresh cup of coffee and a crisp copy of the New York Times. Sitting in a window booth enjoying being alone in a crowd and doing a lot of people watching. Lest not forget inhaling the scent of breakfast and enjoying the sound of everyone talking at once accompanied by the clanking of knives, forks and plates.

Excellent idea for an entry (as always). :)

I had several places pop into my head but then I read your description and I think I would prefer your day today, most days. Quiet moments in a beautiful nature setting with my husband, yes please :)

Okay, as soon as I wrote that I realized that maybe just for today, I'd like to be sitting next to my daughter as she takes the bar exam today - smiling and cheering her on - they won't let me though but I would if I could :)

Sign me up for the picnic! ;) There's something very unique about lakes and mountains. Lake Tahoe for me has been one of my most memorable experiences ever. XOXO

I was just reading a fav blog from england and she was saying how it has been raining forever...I want to go there. I want dark rainy days that are cool and dreary.
I would love to walk down a long country lane in my wellies.
We have such horrible heat, I am over summer and all that goes with it.

Somewhere in the mountains, snuggled in a cabin, with only forest critters around, not the scary ones. Great post!
