Last year in February this beautiful building in New Zealand was
destroyed by a very powerful earthquake. Originally it was a Cathedral, then a school and lastly a residential building. Sadly, due to the severe damage
it's scheduled for demolition. In hopes to put back a bit of good spirit and
help locals remember how full of life and fun this place used to be, Mike Hewson came out with this brilliant project. He covered a total of 130 square
metres in mixed media images of people who worked and lived there, transforming
this abandoned place into something vibrant and happy. Bravo! Isn’t that
brilliant? Just looking at those images makes my heart swell. xo
