I'm terrible when it comes to applying eye makeup and probably that is why I stick to my good friend, the red lipstick most of the time. Having said that, I'm utterly intrigued with the new trend that is everywhere right now - the colour popped lids . It seems that ladies all around the globe are swapping their black eyeliner for this unexpected pop of bright eye-shadow onto their top lid.
I'm torn, but what do you think? Would you try this look? Have you already? What pop of colour would you go with? xo

I tried it last week with a bright green eyeshadow and I even got a few complements from strangers, which was very nice. Wish I could pull-off the yellow look. Love, Amy
Thumbs up! Like Natasha, I like to sport an electric blue. But I also like a bright violet too. Those are the two colors that work best with my skin tone and eye color. Although I don't like to wear it over the entire lid. Just a thick line close to the lashes does the trick.
Bright blue sounds super pretty, Natasha and Jillian. And I'm loving the idea of bright violet as well.

I'm much too old for this and usually don't like fads but this one is kind of pretty. Fun with a white summer dress, or even a colorful one I suppose. Yep, I like it :)

Not sure if I could confidently pull off the yellow or orange, but I have been known to do a smokey eye with dark purple and love it...maybe I will try something in the blues/greens and see how that goes!

I've seen it work in magazines, but every instance i've seen it in real life, it looks gaudy.

I think this is AMAZING!
My face tone and color doesn't work so well together. I did have a pop of turquoise when getting married, looked great in photos. But as an everyday thing, not so much.
PS I also think it looks better on the younger crowd :)
