Here is a handy little trick to keep your berries mould free this summer (and it's all thanks to vinegar - who knew, right?). For starters, place your fresh berries in one part vinegar/ten parts water mixture and swirl around up to a minute. Next, drain, rinse and place them on a paper towel to dry for a few minutes and then you can either eat them right away or put them back in the fridge for later.
Supposedly the vinegar kills any mould spores and other bacteria that might be on the surface of the fruit and makes them stay fresh for longer. Loves, what do you think? Would you try this trick? (I'm planning to give it a go tomorrow - on strawberries). xo
P.S: Also, this cool poached egg and the avocado trick.
P.P.S: Avoid lipstick faux pas.

I love berrie-season and I hate mold so I am going to try your trick right away. I have some strawberries at home. Thanks. Love, Amy
Oooooo I want berry pancakes!
Diana!, great trick...I hope this time I can put the strawberrys in the fridge before the termites (my children and husband) found them and devour them...They're like a plague...undescribable!
Hope you’re having a great start to the week, dear!
Big hugs!

well i already use vinegar to clean my lettuce and salad greens, it never occurred to me to actually use it for the berries, but in makes sense, due to the surfaces of the fruits.
Ohh I can totally see how that would work! I'm trying it!
