From Behind

Wednesday, February 1, 2012

Last Saturday, just before the city hall ceremony my friend (the bride) came up to me and discretely asked to check her out from behind. She read somewhere that a lot of people attending weddings make up their mind about the wedding dress based on the view they have at the ceremony - which is mostly from behind. I had no idea, but it makes sense, doesn’t it? So here are four stunning wedding gown photos (of course) from behind that make my heart swell. (And the strangest thing is that after all this, I don't think I can look at wedding dresses the same way ever again). xo

P.S: Remember this dress? I still can't stop thinking about it.
P.P.S: And this 1940's beauty!

Oh so beautiful and romantic. So perfect as we get ready for Valentine's. Don't we all secretly wish we could have an excuse to dress up romantically like that and run around like we're in some Jane Austin novel? :)

haha, I definitely never thought about it like that, but I am a sucker for a killer back to a dress or a shirt!

I chose my gown, because I loved the back, but I never thought of what my guests would see/or think upon seeing me from behind; very interesting! xo.

Ha! I'd never really thought about it either but that is very true. At our wedding though I would say it was a lot of back and side view... I'm happy I spent so long deciding on a hairstyle now that I think about it...

Such gorgeous gowns! Ive been noticing in the last few yrs the backs of the gowns are just as stunning as the front...maybe this is why! We actually stood facing each other so the guests got a side view! :)

Hope you are having a lovely week xoxo

Wow, these are all so beautiful! It's so true that what most people see is the back of the dress. I'd never thought of that before!
