Speaking of all things rainbow, how eye catching are those floating net sculptures? While creating those gems, Janet Echelman was inspired by the traditional practice of net weaving by fishermen in India. The genius part about them is that they effortlessly and organically react to all weather conditions and change form as they please. Maybe it's just me, but they totally remind me of those huge mesmerizing jellyfish floating across the sky! Art has so many breathtaking ways of expression, doesn’t it? Aren’t they beautiful? xo
P.S: Here is a very interesting video of Janet speaking about those sculptures.
