Cherry Blossom Avenue in Germany

Monday, February 20, 2012

Oh boy, this must be one of the most mesmerizing avenues I've ever seen! For three whole weeks each spring this tiny street in the old city of Bonn, Germany transforms into a romantic tunnel full of blooming cherry blossom trees. Just imagine taking a stroll through each morning or actually living in one of those flats above. Breathtaking, isn’t it? xo

P.S: Love tunnel in Ukraine, Japanese flower garden and this butterfly tree that makes my heart skip a beat each time I look at it.
P.P.S: Also, if you fancy you can buy this as a print for your home.

Diana, this would be my perfect place. I would look forward to spring each year and take off three weeks from work to just enjoy this beauty. Love, Amy

My old street in Vancouver was full of cherry blossom trees. It's one of the things I miss most.

@Melissa - I thought the same thing! My dad lived in DC for a few years while I was in college. I would spend Spring Break up there with him. Aww, memories! Thanks for posting! xo.

I'm amazed at how clean the street is too! Somebody really takes care of it, otherwise there would certainly be a large pile of petals.
