We talked about ushanka's, the oh-la-la French beret's and the stylish Fedora's but how about the coziest of them all - knitted hats. It took me till this year to find a chunky knit hat that I actually like and it doesn't make me look like a boy:) A friend once told me to always let your hair show (be messy) from under your hat and a peek-a-boo loose side braid is always a yes for that extra feminine touch. Loves, what kind of hats do you wear during winter? xo
P.S: Also, perfect for winter: cozy sweaters and huge scarves!
P.P.S: This photo totally proves that a knitted hat can look super stylish.

I wear them too and I love the tip about a side braid. Going to try it today, thanks. Grace
I LOVE knitted hats! I have two and I wear them often! I have long hair and I definately don't look like a boy unless I put my hair inside the hat. I love the tip about the side braid!
of course up!!:)) last week I got a hat made by my friend:)) it's gorgeous!I can't wait the real winter with snow to wear it with a reason;))
hugs

I love knitted hats, but I have short hair and end up looking like a little boy too, so thanks for the suggestions (I couldn't make it through these cold winters without my knitted hat collection!) :)
Grace, it really looks pretty and Roselie, I used to put all my hair in the hat but now I'm braiding them or letting them all loose:)
J, how sweet that your friend made a hat for you:) Awww! And Sara, Im so sorry that you lost your favoruite one!
thumbs up! they're nice and warm :) hope you're having a great week so far! My sister in law just had her first baby (a girl) on Friday night so we had a spontaneous weekend in NYC!
well I have to go with thumbs way up on knit hats since i make and sell them...lol
But I do think they look so good when worn the right way.
Definitely letting hair show is a good thing.

Thumbs up! Besides looking cute they are super soft and keep you warm! It's win win!
I love them but can never seem to pull them off... If I pull the hat all the way down it covers too much of my head, but if I pull it up a little bit I feel like there's too much extra space at the top. Have yet to find a knitted hat that I love.
Love knitted hats but they really don't look very good on me for some reason. Must be the shape of my head is all wrong... LOL
Thumbs way up!!! Although at the moment my preference is for my black cloche hat with feathers on the side. :-)
Knit hats are a huge thumbs up for me! I have one that looks like the yellow one! I wear it all the time!
Definitely a thumbs up! I love em.

Aww..Annie, how fantastic. Congrats to your sister in-law:) Glad you had a lovely time in NYC:)
Hahah..Amy! Good point:)
I love knitted hats! They are definitely a winter staple of mine... :)
Thumbs up! Cute and cozy!
So thumbs up!!
Always yes for a wooly hat! Love them, I agree that hair needs to show - I look bald otherwise
