work.place

I think, it's fair to say that most of us love sneaking a little peak into other people's working spaces, especially if those environments are beaming with creative juices, right? Carlie Armstrong came up with a genius idea of setting up a work.place, a website full of photographs of creative types from talented artists, designers, craftspeople and even musicians. All those rare talents are exclusively from Portland. I've spent tons of time there last night reading all the individual stories of each person and lusting over some of those incredible spaces. Lovelies, how does your work space look like? Do you work on your own in an office, in a group of people or from home? Do share! xo

P.S: A stunning GIVEAWAY Wednesday is coming up!
P.P.S:  Other awesome workspaces and bloggers@night.

(Thanks Mandy)

Hope you're having a great week!

These are wonderful. I work within four white walls, very dull. I wish I could spice it up but where I work it'd be frowned upon.

PS - My Halloween was fabulous! Hope yours was too!

I'm a therapist in an outpatient mental health clinic, so we work in tiny little rooms with lamps, tons of journals, and thrift store furniture. One of the bathroom stalls in the ladies' room is shut by a pink shower curtain rather than an actual door. It's just as glamorous as it sounds:)

Joanna, it's really lovely, isn't it?

Much to My Delight, oh dear! It must be such an interesting work. One of my friends is a therapist as well.

I love workplaces where you can take your dog. I used to work at an engineering firm back in Miami and the owner took his dog to work everyday. It's a different atmosphere. The place was really nice too. Open floor plan like the top image and all white walls and mid-century furnishings. I just used to love that space so much. My morning ritual of making espresso for the office was my favorite thing to do. You really transported me Diana with this post. Memories....

I do a little of both. I have two jobs outside my house, and I run my own business from home. I love the pictures with the dogs in them! I'd love to bring my dog to work sometimes, but unfortunately my boss is terrified of dogs. :-P

That place sounds so wonderful, Patricia. I love open plan spaces. They give such a wonderful vibe, don't they? I'm glad you enjoyed the post:)

Oh is he really, Stephanie? That is too bad but it's so cool that you can experience both sides.

We are setting up new offices here in the US...chose furniture on Monday - as soon as they are ready I am bringing my pup to work with me, must go out and get him a fancy 'office-bed'!

I love to see where creative people do their work. It always seems magical and romantic next to the florescent glow of my cubicle...

Your pup is so adorable, Josie and you totally need to get him a fancy bed for the office.
