Ode To Scarves

Thursday, November 10, 2011

My friend’s mom told her once that the biggest talent of a true fashionista is the ability to make even the most plain of outfits look extraordinary with a simple scarf. Her mom is a very elegant British lady who knows her stuff, indeed! To be honest, since I heard that, there are days that I choose what I wear according to which scarf I fancy most that morning. Might be strange but this is how much I love those long, short, cozy, plain, colourful scarves and pashminas :). So here are a few of my inspirations for a cozy and beautiful autumn/winter scarf look. Sweets, are you a scarf-wearing type of girl?  How do you like them? xo

P.S: Necklace scarf and one scarf, four ways.

How darling. I adore that first one and the mustard one. It gives me such happiness to pull on a scarf in the fall.

Love scarfs! They are one of my favorite things to just throw on! They add so much to an outfit, so fast!

I do like that mustard one, too. I have a salmon pashmina that I LOVE pairing with my basic outfits. Black pants and top with button down, denim vest, flats and pashmina. The color... oh the color is what made me buy it. I should show you.

Beautiful in every way. The bulkier the sexier. Love how classic it looks. How is it that something that COULD look so frumpy ends up looking so perfect?

I do fancy a scarf but here in Phoenix we don't get to many opportunities to wear them :)

Such a pretty collection of photos! I love scarves and I think the addition of a scarf to an otherwise boring outfit can be a much-needed shot of pizzazz ;)
