Two Toned Lips: Thumbs up or down?

Wednesday, July 6, 2011
Last night I met up with a friend for a drink and she wore two toned lips. She looked incredibly beautiful and I couldn't stop looking at her:) The combination of two bold colours really complemented her features and added a perfect edge to her flowy summer dress. The secret is that you have to choose two colours that you are comfortable with and also create a fuller shape to your lips. Darlings, would you be brave enough to go for this look? Or have you already? What colours would you choose? xo

P.S: You can get this look by pairing up DéVine Goddess lipsticks in hara and calipso.

Wow she looks gorgeous doing so. I must say I couldn't pull it off but if you can rock it you SHOULD! Nothing like creating a new trend for being fabulous!

Jen, so true! And Ritcha, I agree...it's not for everyone but some people look AMAZING sporting this trend!

I have never tried that before!!! It looks so cool though, I'll keep it in mind. I like the orangeish and the bright pink together. xoxo

What a fabulous look! I really like it, but haven't tried it myself yet. I think that I would be willing to try it with the lovely summer colors that are so popular right now, but I'm not sure if I would continue the look once fall sets in.

Looks awesome for an edgy editorial, but definitely not in the real world, LOL.

Have a wonderful rest of the week!

Wow have never seen that before! I know I could not pull it off but some may. I bet my best friend with her olive complexion and funky style definitely could!!

I like it but think I'm too old for it - if I started wearing two tone it might look like an age-related mistake!

I think this is awesome. I wouldn't do it all the time, but it would be fun for going to a play or a concert or something!

hmmmm, maybe this is really hip, but I still love my Lips in a one tone color, mostly red :)

Steinschmuckdesign, I mostly wear red shade as well:)

Totally, Christianna! I might try it for a New Year's Party or a cool concert. Great idea.

I don't think this is for me, it looks wonderful though!

I like it I really, really do. But I think you have to have flawless skin to pull off this look--which I don't--so I think it might end up looking kind of like a hot mess on me. :)) It certainly looks good on her and I bet your friend did look amazing like this too!

Oh dear. But how do you rub your lips together without the colors meshing?
