This morning I stumbled upon this awesome time-lapse video of a day long trip on Lake Michigan and I instantly thought of Balazs. A few years back he took a boat trip similar to this one while visiting friends in Chicago. So now, I’m daydreaming about spending a day getting lost with my thoughts while the cool breeze is playing with my hair and the lights of the ever-busy city are twinkling away. Wanna join me? Oh Chicago...it really is pretty great to see the city by boat. This video makes me excited for the weekend because I'm going to spend it on a boat, drinking beer and laughing with family. There won't be the Chicago skyline in the distance but it still works for me!
Oh! I'm dying to visit Chicago! A friend recently visit and said it's wonderful. It's a good idea to get on a boat, you get to see the city in a different way.

Monica, totally true! Balazs visited Chicago a few times before but the time he took the boat tour he really experienced the city in a whole new way. He loved it:)

Wonderful!! I adore Chicago. It's such a clean city and has great culture and shopping. The only negative are the very cold winters!!

I love Chicago, I lived there for a few years after High School (I went to columbia college for a hot minute). It is so clean, and gorgeous. The parks are wonderful, the people are nice... the food is yummy.. The lake is glorious and the cost of living there is reasonable. I had a friend who worked for the riverboat city tours so we would go all the time, drink wine.. look at the pretty lights... mmm, now I miss it. Thanks for sharing. :)

Been to Chicago 3 times -- love it! Definitely a great city. Feels small & comfortable, but with all the benefits of a big city!
The pics from the boat ride are beautiful. Boat rides are so wonderful and a great way to relax and enjoy the view.
Oh gosh I've been once but it was so long ago. I'm ready to go back for sure! :)

We took the boat tour in Paris as well, Anna. It was magical, wasn't it? Which one did you go for..the night or the daytime one?
