My dad is one of those people who has a set routine when it comes to coffee making. So last night I made a whole bottle of our favourite magic coffee to surprise him as I'm picking him up from the airport in about an hour. He is flying in for a visit! The secret to the perfect brew is fresh beans, vanilla, dark brown sugar and a bit of cinnamon! (Full recipe here). Darlings, how do you like your coffee? What's your favourite type? Do share... xo
P.S: I will be away for the next few days as my dad is here till Tuesday night but I have some fun posts scheduled for you and I'm also planning to pop in from time to time for a chat. Hope you will enjoy them!

Those photos of the coffee-making process looks absolutely delish! I love having a caramel macchiato. I don't make my own coffee, so I'm often at Starbucks having a cuppa. A latte is good too. Yum. Now you've got me wanting to get myself a good cup of coffee!
Have fun, D! I'm sure you'll have a great time. Thanks for taking care of us with fun posts while you're away. :) Love! x
Thanks, girls!! Sarah, you should try this one. It's awesome. I promise:)
How sweet!! I love when my dad comes to visit so enjoy your time with him!
I prefer other beverages such as an ice cold soda or a hot cup of tea!
This looks great! I'm going to make this for my dad this weekend... we're both HUGE coffee fans : )

oh my, that is so thoughtful of you!! how did he react? my dad was a lot away from home too, so i'd sneak a candy bar in his suitcase when i was small and he'd then call us home, all teary... :)
you know - grown up men!
i've always wanted to be the person, to enter the coffee shop, order the awesomest coffee in the whole history of coffee making and drinking and i terrible wish they would name it after me, but... i always drink coffee with milk, no sugar.
or sometimes cappuccino.
boring or just predictable? :)
however - addicted to the coffee smell and taste!
YUM!!!! And I haven't even had my coffee yet....my mouth is watering!

Awww, yay for your visit with your dad and some time off! Enjoy.
My coffee routine is grinding the beans and brewing them in my Eva carafe. A little brown sugar and cream. I do drink it black for a few weeks every so often to switch things up. And right now, I skipped the whole beans and bought some ground Illy and it is REALLLLLLLY good.
wow ,thats my favorite post :)

This does look like magic! YUM!!!
Hi! I'm coming over from the Friday post to check out the magic coffee. What a sweet, thoughtful surprise!
I hope you have a lovely, loving Father's Day weekend!
I love that your dad is so quality driven! It is a sign of good character and you are very sweet to prepare this delicious treat for him when he comes to visit you.
Here in Sydney we live with an amazing coffee culture - there are so many excellent baristas here. I say 'baristas' rather than 'cafes', because if the coffee is no god the cafe itself will be rated..!
I prefer organic coffee, that is ground on site. It has more depth, flavour and aroma.
Like your dad I truly enjoy a 'chai', but I also like a good Machiato and the occasional Latte. But only if it is made to creamy perfection!
I am doing a post on Sydney and coffee a few weeks from now, and I'll try to remember to reference this delicious post.
Enjoy time with your dad and thanks for this recipe.
x Charlotta
Never heard of this coffee brewing method and I'm sure going to try it now. I'm a big coffee fan!
I usually have mine made in a Moka Express, no sugar, a little milk. Well, now it sounds so boring comparing to yours!!
Yum!! Hope you're having a wonderful visit with your dad!! xo
such a cool surprise =)
I haven't tried coffee with vanilla
sounds delicious

When I received this, the pump was broken which was unfortunate. However, I love this product for my extremely curly
hair. Don't use too much or your hair looks greasy.
