Birthday Bash Under the Stars

Thursday, June 2, 2011

Oh my goodness, Jeremy from we are the parsons just scored some big brownie points with me! He hosted this special backyard bash for his wife's birthday. Don't you just love the twinkling vintage lights and large family-style table? Ashley must have felt to special to be eating her birthday dinner surrounded by her best pals while listening to Bluegrass playing under the stars! Darlings, didn't he do great? What would be your dream birthday? xo

They are amazing! They took our family photos last summer, and they truly are a treasure. I also have friends who had them photograph their wedding. Stunning talent. I am always in awe when I check out their blog and I feel so blessed to have had them photograph my family.
Best,
Tina
P.S. If you check out their blog and the way they talk about each other, it's very inspiring.

I love this! Z & I have always wanted to host a party like this...we've even come thisclose to buying some of those lights. Unfortunately our family & friends are so scattered geographically right now that it would be a rather small party.

So pretty! If my birthday wasn't in late November and/or I lived somewhere with warmer autumns than the northeast, this might very well be it!

I've never had an ideal birthday bash, but after seeing the photos above, I think I have one now. I just love how the beautiful lights were incorporated with the long table filled with family and friends. I mean, it seems simple, but it's so delightful. Kudos to Jeremy for hosting such a wonderful party!

I've never heard of Alec Vanderboom, but I think he's a man of talent. He captured this wonderful event perfectly.

By the way, I'm going to send you an e-mail full of questions! HEHE! I hope you don't think I'm interrogating you!

Oh this is perfect just like you said! I adore parties like this.

I cannot wait to have a house and hubby of my own someday and host grand classy parties like this every single weekend.

I think I would've peed my pants if my husband cooked this little soiree up for my b-day...AMAZEBALLS. It's just so country chic/romantic! I think I would settle for just being a guest at this lovely bash!
