NYC rooftop gardens RELOADED!

Monday, May 16, 2011

It's whooping 80 degrees and really sunny today. It finally feels like summer, yippee! So this morning I got completely distracted by this book. I'm daydreaming about spending the day on one of those rooftop gardens while sipping ice cold watermelon lemonade. Can you imagine the breathtaking view those owners must have from their front porch? Wanna join me for a drink? xo

P.S: Also, NYC rooftop houses, amazing!

I love it that these days such beauties are being developed on roof tops. Instead of a cold, unused space, look at what they can accomplish! (so good for the environment too). Absolutely love this!!!

I will be forever jealous of NYC rooftop gardens. I don't ever want to live in NYC because it's just soo crazy expensive and sometimes at night its just madness but if I could live for a week in an apartment with a garden top or pool I'd be in heaven! =)

aaah they are all lovey! especially that third one! the glamour:) and watermelon lemonade? yes please!

Just yesterday I was talking to my sister about the draw of roofs. We used to sit on the roof of our last apartment. The view is such a lovely novelty. To this day, I wish we could sit on the roof of our new place. It's always so warm, and you get the big picture of your little world. :)

Wow- those are amazing! Some of the places here in Chicago have rooftop gardens & houses, but I can't even imagine how much they would cost! I guess I'm lucky just to have a balcony, but these would be fabulous!

Isn’t the roof garden just the most awesome spot to hang out on a hot day? Haha! Now I’m the one who’s daydreaming! The watermelon lemonade sounds like a very cool idea. Imagine how refreshing the city would be if we had a lot of these rooftop gardens around. Kudos to NYC!
