DIY Studded Ballet Flats

Thursday, May 26, 2011

Since the post about Misty Copeland, I secretly want to dress like a ballerina and those studded ballet slippers would be fun to wear! (Do it yourself directions here). Great twist on the classic look, don't you think? xo

P.S: Would you wear them on the street or just at home?

I'd wear them in class! Haha! No, it would probably get me kicked out. Especially with the drawstring in a bow. But it is super cute.

I wish my old ballet slippers weren't so ratty. The stud/bow combo is so much fun!

Vanisha, I would wear pair them up with rolled up skinny jeans and a striped top or a breezy summer dress. They really go with all comfy type of outfits!

You totally should, Morgan:)

This is a really interesting idea. Not sure how I feel about the studs, but I think it's creative someone would modify their ballet shoes.
