DIY glitter flats

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

Are you a bit bored with your plain ballerina flats? By using some glitter, brush and glaze spray you can transform them into sparkly ballerinas. (Do it yourself directions here). Aren't they adorable? xo

(thanks, Brittany)

Oh my heavens, I love this! I could make so many colors! I'd probably track glitter everywhere I'd go, but it would be like breadcrumbs to get me home! :)

Love all the glitter and glam and adore the idea that you can take a pair of tired old flats and make them sparkly and NEW again :)

GREAT idea! This would also work for a pair of children's shoes!!! LOVE this idea, Diana. I may just have to try it with a pair of the girls shoes! xo

That's such a fun idea! And a great way to save a pair of scuffed, old ballet flats that would otherwise end up in the trash... but being the neat freak I am, I'd have to wonder about whether they'd leave glitter all over the place... :-P

Great idea - I know I would somehow manage to screw it up though and get glitter everywhere!
