Then and Now

Wednesday, April 6, 2011

Bravo! Jason inspired by his love for history embarked on a cool project of collecting old photographs to compare how places changed over the years. Makes you wonder how much they will change in another 50 years? I'm totally blown away about how spot on they are and it would be so interesting to do this in our neighborhood. (For the whole series go here). Darlings, aren't they brilliant?  xoxo

P.S: Stay tuned for GIVEAWAY Wednesday.

They are very brilliant indeed;-)
It's interesting to see the change in history regarding the building.
Modern day has bright colours ( first image ) and the earlier images are less so. Does that mean life there has become more "Colourful?"
;-)

I love this! My home was built exactly 100 years ago and I was able to order an old black & white print from our County Clerk's office. It was amazing to see how my house looked years ago. I now have it framed in my living room.
