Fashion and Landscape

Monday, March 21, 2011

Oh my goodness, how awesome are those street-style photos paired with a matching landscape? Cath did such an amazing job with this project and I can't get over how spot on they all are! Brilliant! (For more go here and here). xoxo

P.S: As some of you asked: we watched "Blue Valentine" on Saturday night. It's one of those movies that give you a chance to reflect for days. Have you seen it?

Diana, these are really unique. It's also two of my favorite things paired together (fashion and nature). Thanks for getting my imagination going this morning.

I love this collection! When fashion mirrors art and art mirrors life...so relevant! I especially love that wintry grey palette...We're experiencing total downpour in SoCal right now so all I wanna do is hole up and wait for all the rain to pass.
Beautiful shots- thanks for sharing!

I saw Blue Valentine last week and was feeling a tad depressed after it I have to say.
Great acting, but definitely not a feel good movie!

Glad the weather is picking up in your part of the world, it's pretty rainy and miserable here!

Wow, this is so amazing. I love how the colours translate so perfectly and I think it would be cool to do this the other way around too (as in start with the landscape and design the outfit around it).

Diana said...

Wow they fit so perfectly together!! Love that green look. I havent seen Blue Valentine, but would love to, looks like a great movie. Thats the one with Michelle Williams and the guy from the Notebook?

OH my goodness! They're all beautiful but the green in the second one is just gorgeous and lush. I'd wear that outfit, leaf hairband and all, but I'd probably refrain from disturbing that forest..
