Balazs and I like eating eggs for breakfast and after yesterday's organic market visit, this morning we had dippy eggs and soldiers. They totally take me back to my childhood when my dad used to make them for me and my brother each morning. (It's a very British type of meal). Dears, do you like eggs for breakfast? What did you have this morning? xoxo
P.S: Recipe here. Also, I know that a few of you are on a gluten-free diet, so instead of the bread, you can try roasted asparagus or something you like.
P.P.S: Stay tuned for GIVEAWAY Wednesday. I have something really cool for you today!

I love eggs, but they have to be hard-boiled. My breakfast today, as every other morning was fruit with yogurt. (today's fruit, banana, pear and plum)

I had egg in a hole, or egg in a basket, or toad in a hole. I have no idea what name others were taught applied to a slice of bread with a hole in the middle and a fried egg fused into said hole. I do know that it is a yummy, fast, portable breakfast.
this is one of the first things my french hubby showed and teached me... and I LOVE IT...and so do the kids by now :)
What a lovely breakfast! I'm going to need to make this soon.

I'm a vegetarian, so I do try to avoid eggs, and I make all my cakes without eggs, but since I'm not a vegan, I do like an egg from time to time :) I usually pop them in salads.
Yum! I could live off of this.
Thanks for the recipe...this looks delish!
Oh I love this post. My Irish grandfather would make these for me. It was the only time I would ever see him in the kitchen :) Makes me a bit weepy just thinking about all those breakfasts with him.
