Last week while on vacation we rented a lovely cottage by the ski slopes. While we spent all day skiing, the evenings were all about eating and playing games. A few of the girls and I made apple donuts and hot apple cider, that was a perfect snack after a cold and active day! I highly recommend making some! Here is the recipe. Dears, do you ski or snowboard? xoxo(via from me to you)

This looks yummy! Thanks for sharing the recipe. I will have to try this soon! Happy New Year!
These look so incredibly delicious and sound equally as yummy. I always thought of donuts as a desert food, so I like the idea of it being a snack in the afternoon.
Ooo I'd love to go on a ski weekend right now! Apple donuts? Sounds delicious!!! =)

That looks yummy. It's making me hungry.
No skiing or snow board but I love to eat! Those look delicious!
I live in the place with the "softest snow on earth" - at least that's what the state's license plates indicate, so yes, I ski. Hope you had great fun, my dear.
YUM YUM YUM!!! This looks FABULOUS!!! and I totally love to ski!! xoxo
mmmmmmmm this post is battling with my new year resolution to eat healthy(er). One donut (or two) can't hurt, right? ;)
Ummm... where can I get a box of these right now?! I'm all about snacks right now and this looks like the best snack of MY LIFE.
YUM! Hot apple cider with a dash of caramel is one of my favorite drinks ever. And donuts? Don't even get me started! :)

Delicious!
This is so weird, I've been thinking and craving donuts and more donuts lately!

:) best :) love it a lot! yummi!
That weekend sounds perfect!! Happy New Year
I think I could live off cider and donuts.
These photographs are so beautiful. I'm such a sucker for beautifully styled food photography. They make me want to cook more, which is the point, I suppose!
Oh yum, what a perfect treat for a ski lodge trip!
So delicious! This doesn't help my resolution to stop eating so much sugar!!!
Thank you for all your lovely comments and I am, too, looking forward to your posts for this New Year!!
Kisses. See ya!
This is the best Christmastime snack ever. Also love apple cider with gingerbread men. So festive!
Sounds lovely, wish I had done the same!
That's right, Anait. Go for it!
Neither but I'd like to learn. My mother was a ski instructor when she was young (can you believe she never taught us) and (true story) she was friends and skied with the youngest son of the Von Trapp family (as in Sound of Music!). She has great stories.
I'd like to learn--I must take some lessons. My husband loves to ski.
Oh and the cider looks DELISH. I like to add mulling spices to mine sometimes.
As always--GREAT photos. :)
i want to eat all of the food that you are posting! delicious!!
It does sound like the perfect snack! I used to ski, but I really don't like it. I know pretty much everyone does, so maybe that is weird of me? I like enjoying the snow from the warm indoors :)
i'm so jealous you went skiing!!!!! and now i want an apple donut.
