Autumn Biking

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

I love biking and to be honest I'm not ready to give my bike a rest quite yet. After seeing those fall cycling photos I'm more motivated than ever to embrace the chill on my bike! (what do I have my stripy scarf and mittens for, right?). Darlings, do you bike all year round? xoxo

Ps: Fancy a chit-chat? Join me on Twitter!

(thanks Mandy)

Rob and I are getting bikes as soon as we arrive in Irvine!!! I am so excited! (I'm also nervous bc the last time i rode a bike was 10 years ago and i split a bush in half at our local park)hehehehe

I wish biking in NYC didn't scare me. I did it once. Never again!

LOVE how the red bike looks against the fallen leaves and concrete. However, I'm sad to say that I'm not a biker. I don't have enough guts to go out in traffic :(

Such cool fall bike photos! Honestly I havent biked in quite some time, but I do love to bike. It would be very difficult, if not impossible, for me to bike year round tho since I live in Minnesota.

Living in a college town in AZ means that I can bike year round! When my bike isn't breaking, that is ;) Love the pics!

Hurray for Autumn biking! And Winter biking for that matter! I don't own a car, so all year round I depend on my feet or my bike. Winter used to be a bit dodgy (involving some broken teeth and stitches) but all is well now that I own a studded tire for the ice. :) Problem solved!

I like biking, too. I have to be honest, though, since I got my car I haven't done much... :-(

Good morning Diana,

Il ove to bike too. I haven't done it for about 2 years because I had to take it easy.

I look at my bike everyday at home and I hope to be back riding next summer. It is way too chilly for me to be biking.

You look nice on your bike. You go girl. Do your thing. LOL.

Thanks again for all your sweet comment. Waiting for the next giveaway. Hope it will be something chic, like a nice designer bag. LOL

I live in Amsterdam as well so it is quite normal and once you get used to it... who wants to wait for the bus?:)

You are right. just becaue it's a little chilly doesn't mean you can't take a ride on your bike. Nice blog.:)

It's easy to bike year round where I live (for the most part), you will look cute all bundled up and it's so exhilarating!

Have the best day. xo

I'd so love to embrace year-round biking again (I got permanently scared after some icy, messy accidents my 4th winter biking). These fall pix are lovely - so true, that's what mittens and scarves are for! :)

I'm sorta a klutz and had a very minor bike crash over the summer (involving no one but myself, which of course made it more embarrassing) so I have been really hesitant to bring out my bike again. But these photos are so gorgeous that I might be a little inspired to get over my silly fear... hmm. Thanks for posting these! So pretty!

I cant decide whether to purchase a bike or not... I havent had one since I was a kid but we are in need of some more reliable form of transportation. I just dont think I could make it up the big hills in this city!

I love these pics, Diana! So carefree!!

I live at the beach so lots of bikes zipping around - some really cool older cruisers with baskets.

Confession: I don't own one. *hangs head*

I kinda want a mint green one...

Carrie

E. Charlotte, we also dont own a car so I mostly walk or use my bike. So sorry about your broken teeth and stitches...ouch!
Studded tires are such a great idea. I need to look into that! Thanks:)

My hubby got my bike in all sparkly new condition again and I LOVE riding, but I think I need a new seat or something beacause my butt seriously hurts after a short ride! I thought about strapping a pillow to my seat even...
