Publicly Private!

Tuesday, August 10, 2010
The other day I read this article and I couldn't stop thinking what a great idea it is...Let me get you up to speed with it all... Jordan from Oh Happy Day! loves to throw parties in public spots. She finds a perfect location like a roof top and gets everything orginized from the table setting to the food and invites. Amazing, right?
I just adore the idea of intimate gathering in a fully public place and unexpected venue.

Darlings, how do you feel about public-spot parties? What would be your dream location?

Happy daydreaming,
xoxox

Ps: The images are: a public pier and roof top party

I would love a private rooftop dinner party in the middle of NYC, with Jean-Georges as the chef of course!...maybe for my b-day!

I like the idea of gathering "privately" with friends in a public place, but as far as one-on-one I prefer something more private. Rooftop dinner party = amazing idea!

I absolutely adore this. I love the rooftop idea and also think public gardens would be a great idea. Living by Lake Michigan, I'm always in favor of the beach as well!

That IS a great idea. So much work but so worth it. I wonder if you need a license to do that though?

BTW, I bought PRADA SHOES in Paris :) They were on sale in a little store in the St. Germain district – near Le Cafe Deux Magots. They’re simple black flats, but I love them. I also got a hat from the flea market haha :) Very Parisian.
