Working Space

I am longing for a change in my working space as I spend most of my days there. I am thinking to make some type of creative outlet with a huge chalk board for inspirations and maybe a cute chair (I really like the second one). I also want to get a chic small French desk/table....What are your thoughts on that?
Does your work space inspire you?

Love,

A perfectly timed post as I am currently on the hunt for the ideal desk. I totally support a change of work space and LOVE the idea of a fun little chair.

Totally with you on revamping the work space. I don't really have a designated space at home, so I spread everything out on my coffee table and/or dining room table! definitely need to work on a more organized space . . .

I adore viewing images of others working spaces...you are absolutely right...if you spend a greater part of your day in a space, you should make it, well, "you" :)

I can't wait to create my office! I love this inspiration, especially the fun colored file cabinets. Usually file cabinets are so drab, but the pink is perfect.

Living in the bedroom that I had when i was little I have a problem with space. I'm so envious of each one of these rooms!! I long for a work-space so i can actually get something done! I love that bookcase room & the one with the blonde sitting with the shelves! I love it!

I love all these spaces! I like the idea of having a huge chalk board (and that makes me ponder having one..hmm) and small French table.
My workspace in my art studio has to serve as constant inspiration if I'm actually going to accomplish something in htere.

Beautiful spaces! I love all the shelving in the first image and the colors in the second. The bottom two seem so artistic. I love it! My space does inspire me because of the colors and because I am surrounded by things I love. Any of these spaces would inspire me too!

I really like the first desk space, that's how mine looks with a lot of books! But I rather have the second photo's chair..
Chairs are quite hard, decisions.

I'd love to have all of those shelves. We don't have much space in our house but we do have a small office. Need more shelves!

I have an 8x10 shed in my backyard that I have outfitted as my mosaic studio- a tiled floor, curtains and custom plate shelves across one whole wall. I keep so much of the things I love there, from magazine clippings of items that inspire me to the wicker rocker I used to nurse my babies in to the art projects that my children bring home from school. It's a special place that's all my own!

Diana my work space does not inspire me and I need a change. The top picture is an absolute dream.

I think a small French desk or table with an interesting chair could completely revitalize your work! Just a thought...hehe

My space does not inspire me, YET. I have to redo it. That first photograph, though, DOES inspire me.

Great choices. I love the first one -- nothing says "home office" quite like an Eames chair.

I would love to redecorate my workspace, but that is not possible. My office is so small and my workspace is even smaller. But I would love to have a workspace like that in the first picture.

I LOVE these photos! I so wish I had a cute, inspiring office to tell you all about but at school I'm either at the library or in my dorm to work -- nothing too exciting -- and at home I'm usually in my bedroom (which is lovely but not as darling as these cute offices!).

As I have a one-bedroom apartment, my workspace is the couch or, after ten pm, the bed. I'm jealous of people who have the space and money to do stuff like this!

I keep collecting photos of gorgeous home offices too, and was going to do a post next week actually! I'm dreaming of a big white table with whimsical colourful accents, perfect organisation, a lovely lamp and space for a big mood board to fill with things I love.
