Tree for Birthday?

Thursday, June 3, 2010
Jordan from "Oh Happy Day" made this cute Birthday Tree for one of her friends...It's such a great, simple idea to make someone’s special day a little bit more personal...You need some Dogwood branches, sparkly flowers, ribbons and little present boxes (each have a little gift and a note inside) so you can open one gifty each day. This way, you can prolong your birthday for a few extra days! (Who doesn't like that?) And let's not forget that it will add so much to the table decoration!

Well done, Jordan. I am on the wagon...

Love you all...
xoxoxo

Ps: You can use that idea on many other occasions...like anniversary, engagement, babies’ birth....

I love this idea! So beautiful. Would be perfect for any party involving gifts--keeps the presents small and allows them to be opened in their own time.

In Sweden, I believe, it's a big tradition to do an Easter tree.

I actually did this for my Christmas tree a couple of years recently. I gathered some lovely big twigs (one year sprayed them silver), stuck them in a vase with some white river stones, and then hung tiny presents, feathers, jewels, strands of pearls and other trinkets from them. Beautiful!

Love this. We are making escort card and "guest book" trees for our wedding which has a branch theme, and this is great for inspiration!

(ps just found your blog via "so about what I said" and I'm glad she introduced us. loving it so far!)
