Summer Bikini!!!

Thursday, June 10, 2010
I have to be honest...at first I was not sure about high-waisted bikini bottoms...I couldn’t exactly decide what I didn’t like about them but I think it was simply that I was afraid that it would look silly on me but after seeing a few on my girls rocking the look and those beauties by Free People, I am officially on the high-wasted bottoms wagon! Aren’t those two adorable?

I can't wait to hear your take on high-wasted bottoms?

Hugs,
xoxoxox

Ps: My darlings, I will definitely wear that dress ( flowers and ruffles)!!! Can't wait:) Thank you for all the sweet comments:)

Not sure about them either...but Free People seems to have an endless supply of amazing clothing coming from their label these days..sure it won't be long before these completely catch on. Adore your ruffly dress...its so perfect!

I don't know if I could pull this off but it looks good on the model and I love the prints!

i shouldn't be wearing a bikini period this summer! - but think i'm not?! - when comes to bikini's i don't think i could go "high waisted" b/c i'm ALL about getting TAN! .. i know, i'll look 100 at 50 be battaling skin cancer like my Mom is now .. soon enough i'll learn my lesson .. and i'm sure this summer -i'll get a rude enough comment about rockin' a bikini that i'll put the darn 1 piece or tankini on .... *fingers crosses* i don't met that rude person!

These suits are retro-licious!

I am opposed to the high-waisted bottom only because it hinders my tanning!

well, she is just a knockout in those suits. I think these suits are gorgeous and really show off a woman's figure. Go for it!

Okay, I'll admit to being torn here. First thought - "how unsexy are they." Second thought - "hey, that might cover a multitude of sins (I've had three kids ya know!) and then the finally I arrived at "I might be game!"

Fun prints too.

I love that second one! The print on that is positively stunning!

I think they're adorable. So loving the vintage vibe. But I have no idea how they'd look on...and I am a tanning freak so I might not like the tan lines. I'm definitely willing to give them a shot though :)

Hope you have a happy Thursday honey! xoxo

It would be the only type of bikini I could wear. (I have some stretch marks and a bit of saggy skin in my lower belly, not attractive!!) But, that said, not sure if I could pull it off. Cute suits though!

Those are really cute!

Yes yes yes to the high waisted! haha. Ok, so I won't actually be being the swim suit. While those two are so adorable and dare I say near perfect, I have already bought my swim suit for the season... and to be honest I have enough. BUT I can appreciate a nearly perfect suit on others, right?

You know I think they are really beautiful, and look fantastic on other women, but I don't think I could pull them off. Of course I have never tried, I should probably at least give it a shot in a dressing room before saying no.

I'm a one piece lady all the way. I like the patterns though.

Oohh I'm not so sure... I don't know if I would be able to pull that look off so well! But I'm sure they look fab on people with the right figure and attitude...!

I just can't do it, I'm fan of a smaller bottom. (I have a brazilian in me and would hate that tan line.....) but I can see it being cute on the right gal. xx

when i first saw them i LOVED it. i am a fan of the old fashion bathing suits, you know the one that goes down a little farther than your hip. anyway, i have only ever worn a bikini two summers in my whole life and loved it but i have a bit of a tummy (well now a bit bigger) so when i get back to that size this is going to be great! i just hope its still in style then. maybe i should stock up now...

I would totally wear this. My stomach is my problem area, and I feel like this would be helpful. I think it looks retro and hip!

I would definitely wear high waisted bottoms. So vintage!

I love the high wasted look - not everyone can pull it off, but it's definitely classic and I adore the vintage feel of it. Cute

I'd do it! I think the tanlines would be funny though! :)

I'm all for the high waisted bikini bottoms! It's so 1950s. Love it.

Yes, I'm a little torn about high waisted bottoms myself.....

I think if one has a very defined waistline, it can look great. I don't really have curves so they look silly on me!
