For years I dreamed about bangs but I always thought it wasn't for me.. Then about a year ago my then new hairdresser suggested that I should give it a try and if I wont like it I can always pin it. So, I did and I love it!

What is your expeirence with bangs? Love it, hate it?

Kisses,
xoxoxo

Ps: The girl  looks amazing in that bow dress and her cute bang....

Hey Diana! Nice to visit your blog today :) LOVE the picture ... If I could be sure I'd look like that, I'd have bangs all the time!

Here's the thing about hair: if you want to try it ... why not? Hair GROWS. I say: go for it AND post pictures :)

Oh dear. I can never decide! A fringe is more high maintenance. I'm always doing both - growing it out, then cutting it again etc. I also like a halfway thing, sort of ear length...

i've done bangs then let them grow out - now i'm just in the "growing out" phase - where it's strictly 'trims' ... but i think bangs can be REALLY fun!!!

I had bangs for a really long time..all sorts, side swept, blunt across, kinda grown out..I loved them all! I just thought it was time for me to change it up a bit, so I am growing them out (it has taken over a year).

LOVE the bow dress!

I JUST cut bangs day before yesterday and I LOVE them. What a timely post! I think they are a great way to switch thing up when you aren't ready to cut it all off.

I just can't do bangs, I think they look so cute on other people but on me I think they would just look blah.

Love it. She looks adorable--perfect shoes, bag, dress. I wanna see your bangs!! I had them for a while, but grew them out . . . finally they're long enough to stay behind my ears!

What a super cute pic of the girl in an adorable outfit!

I have never had bangs nor really wanted them, but they look oh so cute on other people and I am sure you would look FABULOUS with them! :)

Well they are definitely totally adorable on the girl in this pic, but I don't think I could ever go back!

my last experience with bangs ended in a really tragic 'shag' hair cut. curly hair just isn't meant to be 'banged' up. :P

hope you are having a lovely day!

I do them about once every two years and love them for the first month and then grow them right back out again. ???

I have curly hair so bangs give my look more texture and layers, I think! ... and they look youthful :) .. you can try clip-on bangs before taking the leap :)

Have a fantastic day!

Just came across your lovely blog!!
I love, love the look of bangs on people - but for me, they drive me nuts! They have to be the exact right length or i'm always trying to tuck them behindmy ears :)

Cutie, cute dress!

I had bangs, oh yes, I had bangs. I had bangs that needed to be manipulated with curling iron and hairspray. That was back in the day if you can imagine. Not a good look, but that was the time. I am now moving on, sans bangs!

HOWEVER, some people can TOTALLY pull them off and for that, I am jealous. :)

I love bangs! They're so cute on almost everybody! They can really "upgrade" a hair style. I had the same issue, where I was always told I could never wear bangs, until my now-hairdresser insisted I could and she was right!
Now I'm growing them out but it's so tempting to want to cut them again!

Lovely post Diana!

I had an awful experience with bangs--ok a bowl cut as a child. I have always wanted to try them again in a more stylish cut, but I'm just too afraid!!

First of all, adore this look! I love the prim and proper look, my fave! As for bangs, no I haven't tried them, but I recently got my hair cut short, and I LOVE it, it was a huge change, and I'm like, WHY did I not do this sooner?! XO! Take a picture!

I don't think I could ever go back to bangs after having them as a wee one. I remember how hard it was to grow them out - and I hated them in the summer when they would get sweaty and stick to my forehead!

However, I think they're absolutely chic.

I love her outfit!! Bangs...welll...before I discovered a straightening iron I had curly bangs which gave me trouble. I have side bangs & I like them. They are definitely not for everyone. =)

That is such a sweet photo! I really want that dress.
I haven't had bangs in a very long time, but I do love the look. Maybe it's about time to try them out again.

I used to bangs but grew it out a while ago .... would love to go back to them .... food for thought !!!

Hi Diana, I think it depends on the shape of the girl wearing them :-)
I love the pic you posted! By the way, I've added your button to my blog. Thanks for leaving a comment on mine!

Real bangs like that would make me look like a 12 year old! But I do have fringy/wispy side bangs that I like. But what I really want is to look as amazing as the girl in the photo - hair, dress, shoes, everything!

I love bangs but I can't pull them off with my curly hair unfortunately :(

bangs can look fabulous , as they do on you :)

my hair is stick straight though, and unless i take the extra 30 minutes to style it so it doesnt get in my face, i usually give up after a day or so and just clipem back... let them grow out...
sigh i miss them .:[

I've been wanting bangs, but I don't think I have enough of a forehead to pull them off.
Glad they worked out for you!

i think cutting bangs is one move that people usually think a lot about before making the move, because it can change the way you look so much. i'm glad it turned out good for you! & i agree, the girl's bangs + bow + nude shoes work so well <3 thanks for dropping by!

I've been a bangs girl for as long as I've had hair. At 42, I still like them trimmed "little girl" style. :)
