It's Friday!

Ahh..It's Friday! What a week it was...Ufff...This weekend we are planning to see some friends and I am in a panic mode because I don't know what I should make for this occasion! I am thinking about salsa, guacamole...hmmm...maybe some homemade potato chips with garlic cream. I am dying for some new great dip recipes!

Do you have any great suggestions?

Btw: here is our Friday selection of everything beautiful and creative from around the web:

Petit Collage has the most adorable decorative tape! (definitely on my wish list)

Here are a few great solutions for growing veggies even if you are short on space ( Like me...I just have a terrace)

If I had a kid I would definetly get him/her this adorable hopscotch rug ! I used to love that game!

Grizzly Bear cards...really!

Beautiful illustrations by Kathy Mellor.

Officially the coolest macbook case ever!

Have a look at this creative dinner wear by Yanko Design.

Beautiful Paris photos by Little Brown Pen.

Are you planning something special for this weekend? Whatever you do and wherever you are, have a wonderful weekend!

Kisses :)

My nieces have a hopscotch rug -- it's so darling! (Not to mention, it's perfect for staying active indoors during cold Ohio winters!)

I have serious love for artichoke dip, but what about homemade garlic hummus with pita chips?

Have a super weekend, doll :)

I love making pudding cups for special events. It's SO easy and totally unexpected. I make mine with vanilla, but add in any flavor you want!

Whisk together in a medium saucepan (until a paste forms): 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1/4 cup sugar, dash of salt and 3 tbs cornstarch

Once that's in a paste, slowly whisk in 1 3/4 cup of milk (I like to use skim) until it simmers.

Then put in one whisked egg and continually whisk until the pudding boils.

Pour into ramekins (or any cup/bowl), cover with plastic wrap (make sure to press the plastic wrap ONTO the pudding so no condensation occurs)and chill for at least 2 hours. Done!

Have fun at your party!

Paris red is amazing and the one plant pot is great!

Have fun at your party, I have no dip recipes but baked brie with toasted almonds and a baguette is always good and easy in an emergency!

Cheers darling.xo

Diana ...LOVE the macbook case! And thanks so much for your regular comments. No matter what else I make for a visit with friends, I almost always add a triangle of brie cheese with some kind of fruit on top and semi-melted in the oven (I like whole cranberry sauce best for the fruit). It looks so fancy surrounded by crackers or apple wedges and takes almost no time!
Have a great weekend!

Have you ever made Mexican layered dip? First layer is a can of fat free refried beans...2nd layer is sour cream mixed with taco seasoning(use a little less than half a packet of seasoning for a small container of sour cream), third layer is shredded cheese, and on top goes chopped tomatoes, scallions and black olives. It's delish! Have fun!
